Jersey photographer: an engagement photoshoot at Le Saie
What a relaxed and lovely photoshoot this was! A beautifully warm evening spent at one of Jersey’s lesser known beaches, with the newly engaged Sally and Jack.
Before the photoshoot we chatted about location ideas and concepts, and decided on a sunset photoshoot at Le Saie as they both loved walking along the wilder parts of the coast, and we threw in a little beach bonfire with toasted marshmallows for fun. The photoshoot was really informal and designed to show the couple as they are - with Jack’s pipe, his passion for rocks (he taught me so much that evening!), their walking wellies, the great outdoors. Oh, and to catch the gorgeous golden light on a field of wildflowers and grasses I had spotted the week before!
Couple photography like this beach photoshoot can be a great way to record you as a couple in a very natural way. Without the time constraints that come with a wedding day, you’re more relaxed in front of the camera. This allows for some beautiful, natural portraits.
I hope you love looking through these warm, summer evening images that celebrate a couple so very much in love - with thanks to Sally and Jack for letting me share a few of my favourites from their session. If you’d like to book me in for a couple shoot, whether for an engagement, an anniversary, or just BECAUSE (yay!), I would love to chat ideas with you.
