A family photoshoot in Henley-on-Thames

I met Justine and Ross, together with their two children, Albie and Maia, on the first warm day of the year in April. We had the glorious sun-drenched woods all to ourselves for their family photography session in Henley-on-Thames. And the first signs of spring were just beginning to peek through - a few daffodils, bluebells and a sprinkling of white wood anenome flowers (my favourites!).

Before their family photoshoot Justine had told me that her 3 year old son, Albie, loves sticks, mud and wellies. Just my kind of guy! He turned up to the photoshoot ready for adventure, sporting a bucket and spade for collecting things in the woods.

We spent a super fun hour exploring the woods, finding excellent sticks, balancing on fallen trees, and getting those oh so important photos for mummy with her two gorgeous babies.

I love the soft woodland lighting and playfulness of this family session. They were SUCH a beautiful little family, inside and out. One of my favourites, so had to share!

If you've ever wondered about having a photoshoot for your family before they grow up too much, I'd love to hear from you.
