A family spring flower mini session in Henley-on-Thames

Vanessa booked onto one of my spring flower mini sessions in Henley-on-Thames. It was my first year running these limited photoshoot sessions, and they completely sold out :-)

She did not tell her husband, Caley, until she had booked - I admire her tactics! Together they brought along their adorable 7-month old little boy, Max, who had only just learned to sit.

On the day of the photoshoot we were blessed with a beautiful, warm spring morning. I had scouted a location for them just outside of Henley-on-Thames that included bluebells, a nearby field awash with yellow rapeseed oil flowers, and some woodland paths framed by spring green trees.

Considering he had only just learned to sit, Max did an absolutely cracking job of being popped down amongst the flowers, and giggling as we played peek-a-boo behind the camera. He even brought his favourite toy giraffe, and a gorgeous knitted blanket - I love it when clients incorporate personal items into their shoots.

With Vanessa's stunning red hair and Max's oh-so-cute chubby wrists, I just had to share some images from this session. And I am delighted to report, this lovely family purchased their full gallery, whoop! :-)
